PNG Iwaki Organic

Sourced from one of Papua New Guinea’s most remote organic coffee-growing communities, PNG Iwaki Organic is produced by 147 smallholder farming families in the Okapa district of the Eastern Highlands.

Tracing its roots back to seedlings from the Purosa Plantation established in 1984, this coffee thrives within the rugged, river-fed highlands through the care, knowledge, and dedication of local growers. Certified organic, the Iwaki community continues to combine traditional farming methods with ongoing training and support to maintain both environmental sustainability and exceptional coffee quality.

The result is a rich and character-filled coffee that reflects the resilience, craftsmanship, and unique growing conditions of Papua New Guinea’s highlands.

Aromas of dark spices, brown sugar, and chocolate. Flavours of chocolate, stone fruit, and roasted nuts with a spiced black tea finish, low citric acidity, and a medium-heavy body.
