Honduras La Flor SHG
Honduras has grown into one of the world’s leading green coffee bean, producing nations, recognised not only for volume but for the exceptional quality of its specialty coffee. Coffee remains deeply woven into the country’s culture and economy, supporting hundreds of thousands of farming families across the highland regions.
La Flor SHG (Strictly High Grown) is cultivated at elevations above around 1,375 metres, where cooler mountain conditions allow coffee cherries to mature slowly and develop greater density, balance, and complexity. These high-altitude growing conditions help produce a smooth, layered cup with the depth and character Honduras has become known for.
Carefully grown by dedicated smallholder producers, Honduras La Flor reflects the craftsmanship, resilience, and tradition behind some of Central America’s most respected coffees.
In the Cup,
Aromas of roasted almonds, burnt caramel, and starfruit. Notes of chocolate, roasted almonds, and starfruit carry through the cup with a long burnt caramel finish, medium acidity, and a smooth rounded body.
